RFID

What is RFID?

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is an automatic identification method that relies on storing and remotely retrieving data using devices called RFID tags or transponders. An RFID tag is an object that can be attached to or incorporated into a product, such as a name badge or ticket, for the purpose of identification using radio waves. Chip-based RFID tags contain silicon chips and antennae.

What are the benefits of using RFID at live events?

The incorporation of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology into meetings, conferences, and events offers a distinct advantage by significantly improving the ability to measure and enhance value for both attendees and exhibitors.
Through the implementation of RFID, you gain the following capabilities:
  • Assessing and analyzing interactions between attendees and exhibitors comprehensively.
  • Efficiently tracking event attendance.
  • Monitoring attendees for CME/CEU accreditation purposes.
  • Utilizing RFID for exhibit lead retrieval.
  • Streamlining access to on-site message centers.
  • Conducting on-site surveys seamlessly.
  • Integrating RFID technology into membership or ID cards for enhanced functionality.
